Born in Coimbra on December 30, 1979.
He holds a degree in Pharmacy.
He worked at the Pharmaceutical Services of the São Pedro Gonçalves Telmo Hospital – Peniche – (2004) and the Pharmaceutical Services of the Horta Hospital, EPE, where he joined in 2005, holding the position of technical coordinator since 2011. Internal Quality Auditor ISO 9001:2008.
He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores in the XI and XII Legislative Terms.
Member of the Committees: Standing (XII), Economic Affairs (XII), Parliamentary Affairs, Environment and Sustainable Development (XII), Inquiry into the Implementation of Mobilising Agendas (XII), Parliamentary Inquiry into the Granting of Guarantees to Private Companies (XII), Parliamentary Inquiry into the Management of the SATA Group (XII) and Social Affairs (XI). He also coordinated the Working Group for Monitoring and Supervision of the Implementation of European Funds in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
Member of the Board of Directors of Casa de Infância de Santo António, IPSS-Private Social Solidarity Institution (2020 – present) and Member of the Board of Directors of UrbHorta, EEM (2022 – present).
