Eládio João Medeiros Braga Regional Director for Youth
Biographical Note

Eládio João Medeiros Braga holds a degree in Portuguese/English with a specialisation in teaching from the University of the Azores in 2005 (pre-Bologna).

He worked as a Basic Education and Secondary School teacher and also taught Education and training courses for young people (CEF) in the regional public education network in the 2008/2009 and 2010/2011 school years.

He worked was an external trainer at Vila Franca do Campo Vocational Training School from 2005 to 2011.

He was an in-house trainer at the Vila Franca do Campo Vocational Training School from 2011 to 2020.

He was the Coordinator of 4 winning projects developed under the IdeiaAçores Competition, an initiative promoted the Entrepreneurial Education Programme - The Way to Success.

He coordinated the Youth Parliament at Vila Franca do Campo Vocational Training School, having guided a team of trainees participated in the National Phase of the Youth Parliament in 2016.

He also coordinated the projects developed by students participating in the National Entrepreneurship Competition and Exhibition, having been placed 3rd in 2019.

In 2003, at the invitation of Professor Pedro González and as part of the "Educational Innovation" course of the Master's degree programme in Education, he made a presentation under the theme "Innovative Practices in the Teaching of the English Language."

He delivered a public presentation on the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in School Context in Coimbra at the "Entrepreneurship and Creativity" Colloquium in 2016.

He also made a public presentation on Entrepreneurship in School Context at the "Faz Acontecer" event, an initiative promoted by entrepreneur and writer André Leonardo, on the island of Terceira in 2017.
