A GOVERNANCE PLATFORM FOR IMPROVING COOPERATION OF THE INTERREG MAC 2021-2027 PROGRAMME

ATLANTE is a strategic project supporting the cooperation governance of the INTERREG MAC 2021-2027 programme (continuation of the HEXAGONE strategic project), which covers the three European regions (Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira) and the seven African space partner countries (Cape Verde, Senegal, Mauritania, Ghana, The Gambia, São Tomé and Príncipe and Côte d'Ivoire).

It is an instrument to support the Programme and potential European and African partners in the cooperation space, with the aim of boosting collaboration, promoting the agreement of funds and encouraging the capitalisation of results in the cooperation space.

It will be in force for the entire duration of the Programme (until 31 December 2029). It was approved by the OMC Management Committee outside the programme, but it works in the same way as the other OMC projects in terms of project management, certification and financial control.
