The Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Food, António Ventura, chaired the opening session of 𝐀𝐳𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭.
This event brought together producers, chefs, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives, with the aim of promoting dialogue on innovation, sustainability and valorisation of local production. The Azorean meat, recognized for its authentic flavor and for its creation in natural pastures, will be the center of attention, standing out as a reference product in the national and international panorama.
In his speech, the Secretary of Agriculture mentioned the FLAVOR project and highlighted its importance for the sharing of knowledge between the various regions and that reinforces the valorisation of Azorean agri-food products and their connection to the territory.

Within the scope of the Azores Bio Forum, the FLAVOR project stood out, which reinforces the valorisation of agri-food products from the Azores, promoting certifications of origin, sustainability and connection to the territory. This initiative brings organic farming closer to science, innovation and consumers, strengthening trust in our products and expanding opportunities for Azorean producers.
On this day we celebrated the BIO Day of the European Union.
