Born in São José - Ponta Delgada on July 9, 1977.
She holds a degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Lisbon and a degree in Mathematics (teaching specialisation) from the University of the Azores. She also holds a Master's degree in Public Management from the same university.
She worked as a Secondary School teacher (1999-2004) and was a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Azores (2004-2008).
She served as an adviser to the President of the Government of the Azores (2008-2012) and as Secretary-General of the Economic and Social Council of the Azores (2013-2016) and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (2016-2020). She also served as Regional Secretary for Youth, Vocational Training and Employment of the XIII Government of the Azores (2022-2024).
Since March 4, 2024, she has been the Regional Secretary for Youth, Housing and Employment of the XIV Government of the Azores.
