She was born in São José – Ponta Delgada, on July 9, 1977.
She holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Lisbon and a degree in Mathematics (teaching specialisation) from the University of the Azores. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Management and a PhD in Economic and Business Sciences.
She was a secondary school teacher (1999–2004) and a lecturer at the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Azores (2004–2008).
She served as a adviser to the President of the Regional Government of the Azores (2008–2012), Secretary-General of the Economic and Social Council of the Azores (2013–2016), Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (2016–2020) and Regional Secretary for Youth, Vocational Training and Employment of the XIII Government of the Azores (2022–2024).
Since March 4, 2024, she has been the Regional Secretary for Youth, Housing and Employment of the XIV Government of the Azores.
