Law No 58/2019 of 8 August 2019 – Ensuring the implementation, in the national legal system, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

General Data Protection Regulation – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2013 – European Regulation directly applicable to all countries of the European Union, laying down rules concerning the processing by a person, company or organisation of personal data relating to individuals in the EU.
