Born in Povoação on April  2, 1959.

Law degree in Legal Sciences from the Faculty of Law of the Classical University of Lisbon, July 1983, and postgraduate degree in Labour Law, February to July 2004;

Leadership Management Course in 2004 and Senior Public Administration Management Course in 2005;

Regional Labour Inspector from December 2020 to the present;

Deputy Inspector at the Regional Labour Inspectorate - Ponta Delgada Inspection Service from July 2008 to December 2020;

Head of the Occupational Health, Safety and Hygiene Section, Regional Labour Inspectorate, from February 2005 to June 2008;

Appointment (order)

Director and Regional Inspector of Economic Activities from March 1994 to December 1996;

Labour Inspector (Director of Services), head of the Regional Labour Inspection Office from April 1990 to March 1994;

Regional Assistant Labour Inspector from March 1987 to April 1990;

Labour inspector since March 1987, currently holding the position of chief inspector;

Senior Technician at the Regional Secretariat for Labour from October 1983 to March 1987.
