Priya Talreja is an environmental policy researcher originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, California. As a 2025 Fulbright-National Geographic Award grantee, she is studying how electric vehicle infrastructure can better support the growing tourism industry in the Açores. She is hosted by the Center of Applied Economic Studies of the Atlantic (CEEAplA) at the Universidade dos Açores and the Direção Regional da Energia. Talreja previously worked on clean transportation initiatives in California and New York through roles at CALSTART, ICF, and the California Air Resources Board.
