Marlene Nóia Gomes was born on September 25, 1984, in Lajes, Flores Island.
She graduated in Economics in 2006 from the University of the Azores. In 2007, she received her Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economic Sciences from the same institution.
After an internship at Fábrica de Tabaco Micaelense, between 2005 and 2006, she joined the Commercial Department of Banco Comercial dos Açores in June 2006.
Since then, she has carried out several duties at the Bank's Management Department, including the Management of Website contents and Electronic Banking, Management and Promotion of Commercial Campaigns, Monitoring the launch of new products, and Team Training.
She remained in the Commercial Department - Azores Office of Banco Banif and later Banco Santander, as an adviser to the Commercial Director. More recently, she has worked as a Customer Service Adviser, being also responsible for the Management of Home Loan Intermediation Partnerships in the Azores.
