Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Web Technology, and BEng in Computer Science Engineering.
He is a technical and scientific consultant for the Portuguese delegation of ESERO - European Space Education Resource Office of ESA - European Space Agency for several educational projects in the aerospace sector. He is also a member of the Technical Evaluation Board of EuRoC - European Rocketry Challenge, an initiative of the Portuguese Space Agency.
Throughout his career, he promoted several projects for the integration of aerospace sciences in the context of vocational and polytechnic education. In 2018, he was distinguished with the Professor EspAcial award by Ciência Viva - National Agency for Scientific and Technological Culture.
Since 2015, he has been involved in the dissemination of the aerospace sector in the area of education, namely through the European CanSat Competition promoted by ESA - European Space Agency, having already been the director of operations and team coordinator. He has been a member of the jury since 2017.
He also represents the Autonomous Region of the Azores in NEREUS - Network of European Regions Using Space Technologies and is a member of the RIS3 Azores Coordinating Committee for the strategic area of Space and Data Science.
