President of the Government received Iraqi Ambassador to Portugal - Communication

The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, received today in audience the Iraqi Ambassador to Portugal, Saywan Sabir Mustafa Barzani. On this occasion, he had the opportunity to provide information on the relations between the country and the archipelago.

During the meeting, held in the city of Horta, José Manuel Bolieiro recalled the potential of the Azores as a tourist destination for Iraqi citizens, but also as a land of investment opportunities.

The exchange of students, namely through the University of the Azores, was also a theme addressed at the meeting held between the two government officials.
