The Azores Regional Civil Protection and Fire Service, jointly with the Regional Directorate for Health, has changed the procedures in the Azores Health Line (LSA), which will allow a faster response to users contacting this line due to positive self-test for covid-19.    

The simplification of these procedures has improved the response capacity of the Azores Health Line, which is now able to handle a higher volume of calls.    

Additionally, the services provided by this line were reinforced with the hiring of another two nurses, on average, per shift, when compared to last December.    

Efforts are still being made with a view to the implementation of improvements to make the line's response capacity increasingly effective.    

Meanwhile, citizens are urged to only use it in case of actual need.
