Last 24 hours:   

16 new positive cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed, all on the island of São Miguel, following 816 tests carried out.  

By municipalities, on the island of São Miguel, 11 positive cases were registered in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, two in the municipality of Ribeira Grande, two in the municipality of Lagoa and one in the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo.

Hospitalisations: 

As of today, there are six patients hospitalised, all at the Divino Espírito Santo Hospital in Ponta Delgada, one of them in Intensive Care Unit.  

Recoveries:   

Six recoveries have been registered in the last 24 hours.  

Current situation:  

The archipelago currently registers 334 positive active cases: 271 on the island of São Miguel, 25 on the island of Graciosa, 16 on the island of Terceira, 13 on the island of São Jorge, six on the island of Faial and three on the island of Pico.

From December 31, 2020 to November 11, 175,199 people in the Azores have been vaccinated with the first dose (74,0 per cent) and 195,775 with complete vaccination (82,7 per cent), under the Regional Vaccination Plan. Up to this date, 9,095 people have received the reinforcement vaccine (3nd dose).
