Regional Government awards contract to upgrade HVAC systems at Madalena do Pico Health Centre - Communication

The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, in conjunction with the Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security, has just awarded the works contract to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Madalena do Pico Health Centre.

The works contract was awarded following a public tender without international advertising. It aims to solve a situation that has worsened as a result of the failure of the ventilation system, causing great discomfort for health centre users and workers, particularly in the haemodialysis area, acknowledged the Regional Secretary, Berta Cabral.

Awarded to INOENERGIA - InstalaçõesTécnicas, Lda., this work has a price of €552,977.97, including VAT.

The work to be carried out under this works contract includes the decommissioning and dismantling of some of the existing HVAC installations and the installation of new equipment, including all the work and accessories necessary for their proper installation and operation.

At the same time, the equipment will be started up, operating tests will be carried out and staff will be trained to run the installations.
