Better accessibility and transparency provided to citizens with Regional Government's Reporting Channel - Communication

The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning and Public Administration, makes available, as of today, the Reporting Channel of the Regional Government of the Azores, which can be accessed via the following link: https://canaldenuncias.azores.gov.pt. 

This system ensures a single channel to report situations referred to in Law no. 93/2021 of December 20, concerning all departments of the Regional Government. On the one, it provides the option of submitting an "External Complaint" by citizens and, on the other hand, an "Internal Complaint" by Regional Public Administration workers. The complaints will be automatically forwarded to the respective regional inspection entities or to the departments competent in the matter reported. 

This channel also provides the possibility of anonymity, ensuring total privacy and protection of the complainant's personal data, since the entire content submitted by the complainant is encrypted. This also applies to situations where it is necessary for the complainant to interact with the case manager, who is the only person with access to its content. 

With the aim of facilitating accessibility, simplification and transparency for users, this single gateway for the submission and follow-up of complaints is in line with the provisions of the Regional Government's Programme regarding administrative modernisation and good practices in digital service design. It also contributes to the optimisation of public resources by directing them to a single channel serving all departments, which will be funded under Component 19 of the RRP-Azores.

At the end of the year, this system will also provide the possibility of making voice complaints through a single, toll-free telephone line, with a view to promoting greater inclusion of citizens. 

The Reporting Channel of the Regional Government of the Azores, a pioneering project in the country, is a project developed by the Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning and Public Administration, through the Mission Structure for the Modernisation and Public Administration Reform and the Administrative, Transparency and Anti-Corruption Inspectorate, as part of the implementation of the "Modernisation and Digitalisation of Public Administration - Autonomous Region of the Azores" Investment under the RRP-Azores.
