Biographical Note

Born in Luanda, March 6, 1969.

She graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.  She graduated in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. 

She practised law (1993-1997). She entered public service as a Senior Technician Trainee at the Institute for Social Reintegration - Ministry of Justice, Azores Centre in Ponta Delgada (1993). She was a senior legal technician at the Regional Directorate for Trade, Industry and Energy (1994-2002), Member of the Commission for Sanctions Application on Economic Matters (1996-2013), Member of the Regional Supply Fund (1997-2022), Director of Legal and Planning Services at the Regional Directorate for Transport and Communications (2002-2006), and Director of Air and Maritime Transport Services (2006-2011).  Representing the Autonomous Region of the Azores in November 2006, she was a speaker at the Seminar on Services of General Economic Interest in the Outermost Regions, presenting a paper on "Maritime Transport in the Autonomous Region of the Azores." She served as President of the General Assembly of the Board of Directors of Portos das ilhas de São Miguel e Santa Maria, S.A. (2006-2011); Portos dos Açores - Sociedade Gestora de Participações Sociais, SGPS, S.A. (2006-2011); SATA Air Açores - Sociedade Açoriana de Transportes Aéreos, (2006 - 2010); SATA Gestão de Aeródromos (2007-2010); SATA Internacional - Serviços de Transportes Aéreos, S.A. (2006-2010) and Atlânticoline (2006-2007). She headed the Investigation and Legal Support Section at the Regional Inspectorate of Economic Activities (Regional Secretariat for Labour and Social Solidarity) in 2011 and held the position of Director of Administrative Services at the University of the Azores (2011-2014).   She provided legal support to the Nonagon Association (2015-2020) and was a legal adviser at the Regional Directorate for Support to the Investment and Competitiveness (2014-2020).  She served as Head of Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Transport, Tourism and Energy (2020-2022) And as Head of Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures (2022-2024) of the XIII Government of the Azores.

Since March 4, 2024, she has been Head of the Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures of the XIV Government of the Azores.  

She has extensive experience and training in public law, particularly in public procurement.
