Born in Angra do Heroísmo, Terceira Island, on June 27, 1968.
Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
She began her first legal practice training period at the Coimbra District Law Training Centre in April 1992. In August of the same year, she began her second legal practice training period under the guidance of her sponsor, Álvaro Monjardino. She practised law in Angra do Heroísmo from June 1994 to January 3, 1997.
She was a senior technician, 2nd class, at the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs (1994) and served as Head of Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Education and Culture (1996). From November of that year, she resumed her duties as a senior technician at the Regional Directorate for Education and Culture of the Regional Secretariat for Education and Culture (1996/2021).
She was a member of the Angra do Heroísmo City Council (1997/2001) and the Angra do Heroísmo Municipal Assembly (1993/1997, 2005/2009, 2009/2013 and 2013/2017).
Between November 25, 2020, and March 4, 2024, she served as Head of Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development. Since March 4, 2024, he has been Head of the Cabinet of the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Food of the XIV Government of the Azores.
