Miguel Ricardo Pimentel Machado, born on March 4, 1991, in São José, municipality of Ponta Delgada, graduated in Public Relations and Communications at the University of the Azores in 2014. In the same year, he joined Coliseu Micaelense as an intern in his area of training. In 2015, he began collaborating with the Ponta Delgada City Council as a senior technician, having joined the City Council staff in 2018.
In addition to his academic and professional activity, Miguel Machado was a scout, regional high performance athlete, track and field official, track and field coach, and Vice-President and President of the São Miguel Track and Field Association. He has also completed the Trainer Skills course and is a member of the Ponta Delgada Municipal Youth Council.
He was appointed Senior Technical Expert by the President of the Regional Government of the Azores on November 25, 2020.
