Marta Beatriz Amaral Raposo Tavares was born in 1982 in Ponta Delgada. She graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2005) and attended the Leadership Coaching & Emotional Intelligence for High Performance Teams programme organised by the Municipality of Ponta Delgada and Upmind Academy. She has also participated in several courses and conferences.
She served as President of the Angra do Heroísmo Regional Labour Conciliation and Arbitration Committee (since February 15, 2023). Head of the Labour Relations Section, on a substitute basis, Labour Services Directorate (since December 2, 2022), Head of Department, Municipal Police (from November 22, 2018, to November 30, 2022.
