Second conference on corruption prevention to be held on December 7

The Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning and Public Administration, through the Regional Administrative, Transparency and Anti-Corruption Inspectrorate (IARTCC) and the Corruption Prevention and Transparency Office (GPCT), will hold the "2nd Regional Conference on Corruption Prevention and Transparency" on December 7.
This year, the conference will be held at Nonagon - São Miguel Science and Technology Park in Lagoa, starting at 9:30 am on the said day.
In the same week marking the International Anti-Corruption Day, six speakers, experts in this field, will speak on the themes "Reflecting on the Problem of Corruption" and "The National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2020-2024."

The GPCT is an entity aimed at preventing and combating corruption. It is the first entity of this kind operating at a national level with a focus on Public Administration. It aims to promote an environment of integrity in the public sphere, coordinate sectoral plans for the prevention of corruption risks and related offences, and implement appropriate strategies for the prevention of corruption.
