Since Monday, the results of clinical tests carried out from this date, 21 July, are now available on the mySaúde Açores app.

By accessing the "user documents" tab, users can quickly access their results on their mobile phone without needing to visit the health centre where the tests were carried out.

Also starting this week, information related to appointments, including bookings, cancellations, rescheduling and reminders, will now be sent via text message, sent from “mySaude.” Users who have the mySaúde Açores app will receive a notification 48 hours before their scheduled appointment and will only receive a text message reminder if they do not open the app within two hours.

The new system covers all Regional Health Service users, whether or not registered with mySaúde Açores. It applies to consultations at health centres on all islands and the Terceira and Horta hospitals.

The Divino Espírito Santo Hospital, in São Miguel, will be included when it is integrated into mySaúde Açores, on a date to be announced shortly.

The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security clarifies that previous methods of communication, such as telephone calls and letters, may still be used in specific cases of users who have difficulty using mobile devices and suggests that, in these cases, the accounts of these users be managed by other family members through the mySaúde Açores app.

The app also features a new "dashboard" tab. It allows users to update their health data, such as blood pressure, weight, heart rate and blood sugar levels, so that it can be included in their medical records in the future, thus facilitating communication between users and their doctors as well as monitoring their progress and evolution.

The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security urges all Azoreans to install and register on the app or portal so they can fully benefit from its features.
