New applications for "Generations in Movement" programme open until June 3

The new deadline for submitting applications to the "Generations in Movement" (GER-MOV) programme, which aims to finance the purchase of electric vehicles to support the activities carried out by Private Social Solidarity Institutions (IPSS) and Charities, runs until June 3. This measure is funded under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), whose initial goal was to purchase 100 electric vehicles. However, given the number of IPPS and Charities in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, it is imperative to continue with programmes to renew and increase their fleets through the purchase of electric vehicles, while also encouraging electric mobility in the Region. In this context, and following the reprogramming of the RRP and investment C03-i04-RAA, the scope of the measure was extended to the purchase of 130 electric vehicles.
The overall budget for the "Generations in Movement" programme is now set at 5.07 million Euros.
"The Regional Government considers the work carried out by the institutions to be extremely important in the support they provide to families, making their daily lives much easier. We have endeavoured to respond to their aspirations with GER-MOV," stressed Mónica Seidi, the Regional Secretary for Health and Social Security.
