The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security would like to express its deepest sympathy for the death of Dr. Eduardo Pacheco.
Eduardo Albergaria Leite Pacheco, a nephrologist, was born in Ponta Delgada in the parish of São José and died aged 73.
Throughout his career, he was President of the Medical Council of the Azores Section of the Portuguese Medical Association. In 2016, he received the Medal of Merit from the Portuguese Medical Association for his work in defence of the quality of health services.
He will continue to be a reference point for his peers, who will remember him fondly.
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security addresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
