Applications for ESTAGIAR L and ESTAGIAR T in Public Administration from September 9 to 30

The application period for internships under ESTAGIAR L and ESTAGIAR T in the Central, Regional and Local Public Administration runs from September 9 to 30, according to the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Housing and Employment, through the Regional Directorate for Vocational Training and Employment.
Applications, both for young people and for the organisations promoting the traineeships, should be submitted at empregojovem.azores.gov.pt .
The traineeships begin on November 1, 2024.
In the Central and Local Public Administration, the selection of applicants is the sole responsibility of the entity promoting the project, within the legal recruitment limits, and the entity must admit trainees by September 30.
In the Regional Public Administration, the admission of trainees is based on selection criteria, evaluation and a final assessment formula, according to the Order published today in the Official Journal. Trainees must be admitted by October 25.
Young people who have recently graduated from higher education, level 6, 7 or 8 of the National Qualifications Framework can apply for ESTAGIAR L, and young people who have recently graduated from vocational courses, level 4 or 5 of the National Qualifications Framework can apply for ESTAGIAR T.
ESTAGIAR L trainees receive monthly allowance corresponding to the Minimum Monthly Wage in the Region, with a 25% increase, while ESTAGIAR T trainees receive monthly allowance in the amount of the Minimum Monthly Wage in the Region, with a 5% increase.
Traineeships last 12 months, including a rest period of one month. They can be extended for another three months.
