The President of the Regional Government of the Azores, José Manuel Bolieiro, praised on Friday the parliamentary approval of the Medium-Term Guidelines, as well as the Plan and Budget for 2024, adding that the tools to support Azorean families and companies are now fully operational.

"I am very pleased, and I want to offer a word to all the Azorean women and men: the Government now has the necessary tools to do its best," he emphasised.

José Manuel Bolieiro spoke to journalists on Friday, in Horta, at the end of the parliamentary week.

Emphasising the amendments introduced by various parties and approved at the special session, the President of the Government stressed that a "duly approved Plan and Budget" represents a step forward in governance compared to the twelfths system.
