Applications open for Financial Instrument for Innovation and Competitiveness - Communication

The Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning and Public Administration (SRFPAP) announces that applications for the Financial Instrument for Innovation and Competitiveness (IFIC) are now open, under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

The IFIC is an RRP instrument aimed at supporting business investments to strengthen innovation and competitiveness.

With a global budget of €40 million, applications from all sectors of activity with a significant presence in the regional economy, regardless of company size, are eligible.

The SRFPAP emphasises that this measure is an important step towards strengthening the competitiveness of the Azorean business fabric, encouraging investment, modernisation and innovation capacity among companies, with positive impacts on value creation and the revitalisation of the regional economy.

Applications are open until January 30, via SIGA-BF, and the documentation for the call for proposals is available at recuperarportugal.gov.pt.
