Azores Crafts Fair from November 27 to December 1 at Pavilhão do Mar

The Christmas edition of the Azores Crafts Fair is back at Pavilhão do Mar, in Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel, from November 27 to December 1.
With free admission, this initiative, promoted by the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Housing and Employment, through the Crafts and Design Centre of the Azores (CADA), closes the annual cycle of local craft markets on different islands of the archipelago, which kicks off with the Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres Festivities in Ponta Delgada.
This edition of Azores Crafts Fair – Christmas 2025 will feature more than 80 regional Craft Production Units (UPAs). They will have the opportunity to showcase their products at this event, including those certified by the “Azorean Handicrafts” collective brand.
In addition to promoting and selling the handcrafted products on display, this Christmas market also includes daily workshops on the techniques for making "Lapinha" (sea-themed) Nativity scenes, Fabric Balls, Christmas Cards, Origami Stars and even Christmas Angels.

The musical programme for the event will include performances by the Ilha Verde Folk Group on Thursday, November 27, at 8 p.m.; the Passos de Bruma Folk Group on November 28 at 6:30 p.m.; Engengroaldenga on Saturday, November 29, at 8 p.m.; Duo Toadas on Sunday, November 30, at 8 p.m.; and the Sta. Cruz Traditional Singing Group, on Sunday, December 1, at 8 p.m.
The Azores Crafts Fair is the largest exhibition and trade event in the Azorean crafts sector. It can be visited from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on November 27 and 28, and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on November 29 and 30 November and on December 1.
