Applications for ESTAGIAR L and ESTAGIAR T in Public Administration until January 31 - Communication

Applications for traineeships in the Local, Regional and Central Public Administration under the ESTAGIAR L and ESTAGIAR T programmes are now open, informed the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Housing and Employment, through the Regional Directorate for Vocational Training and Employment.

Applications for young people and the entities promoting the traineeships should be submitted at empregojovem.azores.gov.pt until January 31.

The traineeships begin on March 1, 2025.

In Central and Local Public Administration, the selection of applicants is the sole responsibility of the entity promoting the project, within the legal recruitment limits, and the entity must admit trainees by January 31.

In the Regional Public Administration, the admission of trainees is based on selection criteria, evaluation and a final assessment formula. Trainees must be admitted by February 24. 

Young people who have recently graduated from higher education, levels 6, 7 or 8 of the National Qualifications Framework can apply for ESTAGIAR L, and young people who have recently graduated from vocational courses, levels 4 or 5 of the National Qualifications Framework can apply for ESTAGIAR T.

The ESTAGIAR L trainees receive a monthly allowance corresponding to the Minimum Monthly Wage in the Region, with a 25% increase, while ESTAGIAR T trainees receive a monthly allowance in the amount of the Minimum Monthly Wage in the Region, with a 5% increase. 

Traineeships last 12 months, including a rest period of one month. They can be extended for another three months.
