Berta Cabral signs contract for new intervention on Via Vitorino Nemésio - Communication

The Regional Secretary for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, Berta Cabral, has just signed the works contract for the hot thermoplastic painting work on the Via Vitorino Nemésio, Terceira Island, for an investment of €147,900.00, including VAT.

The work covers an extension of 28 kilometres of the road linking the cities of Angra do Heroísmo and Praia da Vitória and was awarded to the company Tecnovia, Sociedade de Empreitadas SA.

According to Berta Cabral, the project "aims to improve road safety" on Terceira Island's main road.

It should be noted that the thermoplastic material ensures greater durability and resistance than traditional paint, as it is applied at a high temperature.
