Companies incubated in the Azores have access to a 20 thousand-Euro voucher to boost their projects, announces Duarte Freitas - Communication

The Regional Secretariat for Finance, Planning and Public Administration, through the Regional Directorate for Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness, organised today the annual meeting of the Azores Business Incubator Network in Horta.

The meeting brought together Azorean business incubators in a moment of reflection and contribution to the definition of public policies to support the business fabric under incubation.

The Secretary for Finance, Planning and Public Administration, Duarte Freitas, took the opportunity of the meeting to present the new "Incubation Voucher." It consists of up to 20 thousand Euros in non-repayable support for each incubated company.

The co-financing rate will consider the stage of the company regarding the incubation process and upon confirmation from the respective incubator.

Eligible expenses include management services, marketing, legal and financial consultancy, product and service development and financing services.

"This support measure not only aims to consolidate entrepreneurial capacity in our Region but also to create the necessary conditions for new companies to grow and prosper in a competitive and innovative environment," stressed Duarte Freitas on the occasion.
