First edition of "AICEP on the Road" showcases investment and internationalisation tools for Azorean companies - Communication

The Vice-Presidency of the Regional Government, in collaboration with the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP), is organising the first edition of "AICEP on the Road," which will take place on the morning of October 31 at the Angra do Heroísmo Cultural and Conference Centre.

The meeting aims to show regional companies the tools, products and services AICEP has for internationalisation and investment projects.

The initiative is part of the Regional Government's ongoing efforts to boost private investment, through financial and non-financial tools, leading to the creation of an entrepreneurial and competitive environment conducive to the creation and growth of companies in the Region.

In addition to the investment support available through European Community funds, the regional strategy for the competitiveness of the regional business fabric involves investing in scientific and technological innovation, to which the regional science and technology park ecosystems, TERINOV and NONAGON, contribute.

AICEP is the public organisation responsible for attracting investment and internationalising the Portuguese economy, fostering the number of exports and the international expansion of companies.

Its goals also include identifying international business opportunities and strategies for approaching foreign markets as well as creating and maintaining jobs.
