"Tourism Strategy 2035" conference on October 21 in Ponta Delgada - Communication

The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, will hold the fourth session of the "Tourism Strategy 2035" conference on October 21 at the Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive Auditorium.

Under the theme "Building the Tourism of the Future," this conference will feature speeches by the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Berta Cabral, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Pedro Machado, at the opening session, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on October 21.

This will be followed by a speech delivered by the President of the National Tourism Authority, Carlos Abade, on the theme "Strategy 2035: The challenges of the sector."

The discussion panel "How to respond to the challenges of tourism," which closes this conference, will feature speeches by the Regional Director for Tourism, Rosa Costa, the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Finançor, Romão Braz, the President of the AHRESP (Association of Hotels, Restaurants and Similar Services of Portugal) Delegation in the Azores, Cláudia Chaves, and the Executive Director of Bensaude Turismo, Jorge Aguiar.
