Order ensuring coverage of damage caused by Hurricane Lorenzo published - Communication

Order no. 11741/2024 was published today in the Official Gazette. It concerns the allocation of financial support to the Autonomous Region of the Azores to cover the damage caused by Hurricane Lorenzo, which secures the transfer of 45,160,000.00 Euros until the end of 2024.

As the President of the Regional Government, José Manuel Bolieiro, noted, the signing of this order reflects the Regional Government's repeated insistence on the matter, prompting the new National Government to solve a situation that had been pending since 2021 in just six months.
