Regional Government launches tender for serviced plots in Santa Maria - Communication

The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Housing and Employment, has launched a tender for the transfer of six serviced plots for housing construction on the island of Santa Maria.

According to the public tender opening notice published today in the Official Journal, it involves the transfer, subject to property reservation, of six serviced plots for the construction of single-family houses, which does not include the house project and specialised projects, including two plots located in the Outeiro-Roças Housing Development, in the parish of São Pedro, and four plots in the Lombas II Housing Development, in the parish of Vila do Porto, both in the municipality of Vila do Porto.

Interested parties can submit their application using the form available at the Santa Maria Island Service of the Regional Directorate for Housing, located at Rua do Mercado in Vila do Porto, or at the RIAC - Integrated Citizen Support Network offices, from September 6 and for the following 30 days.

The sale of these plots, by public tender, takes place as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which provides for the allocation of a total of 145 serviced plots in the Region, to be sold by the end of 2025, stressed Maria João Carreiro, Regional Secretary for Youth, Housing and Employment.

This tender is governed by Regional Legislative Decree no. 21/2005/A of August 3, Regional Implementing Decree no. 9/2007/A of March 23, and the provisions set out in the programme and notice now published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
