President of the Government receives SIS Regional Director to exchange farewell greetings - Communication

The President of the Government, José Manuel Bolieiro, has recently received Carlos Oliveira, Regional Director of the Information and Security Service (SIS) in the Azores, at the Sant'ana Palace to exchange farewell greetings.

"Carlos Oliveira carried out his duties with exemplary professionalism and commitment, making a significant contribution to the security and well-being of the Azores," said José Manuel Bolieiro.

At the audience, the President of the Government also welcomed Maria de Fátima Peixinho, who will take up the position of Regional Director of SIS in the Azores from July this year - she has vast experience in the operational and intelligence analysis, both at home and abroad.

José Manuel Bolieiro wished the new Director success, expressing his "confidence that her vast experience and expertise will continue to strengthen security" in the Region.

With this transition, we hope to continue the work of excellence carried out by SIS in the Azores, now under the leadership of Maria de Fátima Peixinho.
