Regional Government launches HVAC procurement procedure for Madalena do Pico Health Centre - Communication

The opening notice for the procurement procedure for upgrading the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system at the Madalena do Pico Health Centre has been published.

The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, through the Regional Directorate for Public Works, launched the public tender last week, with the deadline for the submission of proposals being May 11, 2024.

This procurement procedure for the HVAC system has a base price of €499,000 and a completion period of 150 days, according to Announcement no. 132/2024 of  April 12, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.

Hence, the Regional Government intends to solve a situation that has worsened with the failure of the ventilation system, causing great discomfort for users and workers at that health centre, particularly in the haemodialysis area.
