Applications for RECONVERTER PRO until January 31 - Communication

The unemployed registered at the Regional Training and Employment Centre will benefit from a new phase of the RECONVERTER PRO measure, created by the XIII Government of the Azores, through the Regional Secretariat for Youth, Vocational Training and Employment, to promote traineeships and retraining in a real work context in the private sector.

The application period for the entities promoting the internships runs until January 31, 2024, through the emprego.azores.gov.pt portal. The traineeships will begin within no more than 10 working days following the selection and placement of applicants.

Traineeships have a duration of eight months and can be extended by six months if the unemployed person completes 150 hours of certified training in the initial period of the traineeship.

Companies providing training are reimbursed the same amount as the Social Security contributions paid.

The unemployed will be awarded an allowance amounting to 125% of the Minimum Monthly Wage, in the case of qualifications at or above Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework (QNQ); 105% of the Minimum Monthly Wage, for qualifications at Levels 4 and 5; and 100% of the Minimum Monthly Wage, in the case of unemployed with qualifications at or below Level 3 of the National Qualifications Framework.

The RECONVERTER PRO measure also includes a series of benefits for companies and employers promoting traineeships for the unemployed with disabilities in terms of the training period, support and the obligation to hire them.
