Regional Government acquires new x-ray machine for Nordeste Health Centre - Communication

The President of the Regional Government, José Manuel Bolieiro, accompanied by the Regional Secretary for Health, Mónica Seidi, opened the new X-ray machine at the Nordeste Health Centre last Friday.

Representing an overall investment of more than 300 thousand Euros under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), this is a "state-of-the-art" device that is "the best there is" on an international scale, he emphasised.

The new device's features include a significant improvement in image quality as well as lower radiation levels.

José Manuel Bolieiro presented on Friday some of the Government's initiatives for the island of São Miguel regarding health.

The President of the Government recalled that this Government has formally established a Health Centre in Lagoa, which means that each of the six municipalities of this island will now have its own Health Centre.
