Clarification from the Regional Secretariat for Education and Cultural Affairs - Communication

Following the positions brought to the attention of the Regional Secretariat for Education and Cultural Affairs regarding the learning assessment tests in digital format in the Region, it is important to provide the following clarification:

There are no Internet access problems that led to the non-performance of the learning assessment tests. The problems detected are exclusively related to the computer application where the tests are taken, which is the sole responsibility of the National Government. It is also informed that, unlike what happened in Mainland Portugal, no school suspended the tests due to the teachers' strike. It should be noted that the Regional Government is responding to all reported needs in terms of the provision of computers and Internet access equipment, with no record of any failures at this level.
