Regional Government appoints Teresa Gonçalves as CEO of SATA Holding S.A. - Communication

The Azores Government will appoint Teresa Gonçalves, the current Chief Financial Officer of the SATA Group, as the company's CEO, replacing Luís Rodrigues.

Teresa Gonçalves holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from the Nova School of Business and Economics, a postgraduate degree in Competition and Regulation from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and a degree from the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.

She was appointed Member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of the SATA Group in January 2020, having considerable experience in financial matters - previously, she held the position of Director for the Promotion of Competition at the Mobility and Transport Authority.

She has held various positions as Director of M&A (leading several M&A projects), Finance and Business Development at the largest telecommunications company in Portugal (Portugal Telecom), and was also responsible for the whole business development process in Africa, Asia and Brazil.

With over twenty years of experience in financial services, Teresa Gonçalves, prior to joining PT, had also worked as a strategic business consultant at Cap Gemini Ernest & Young.
