Regional Secretary for Health and Sport authorises payment of "COVID Premiums" for Azorean firefighters - Communication

The Regional Secretary for Health and Sport signed today an order authorising the payment of "COVID-19 Premiums" as well as the reimbursement of expenses incurred by regional Humanitarian Associations of Volunteer Firefighters, corresponding to an overall amount of 97 thousand Euros.

Clélio Meneses also authorised the transfer of 380 thousand Euros to Associations of Volunteer Firefighters throughout the Region, a sum intended to support expense payments.

Accordingly, the government official instructed the Azores Regional Civil Protection and Fire Service (SRPCBA) to draw up the list of firefighters to be included in the priority group for vaccination against Covid-19.
