Opportunistic Helicobacter Pylori Screening Program (POHP)
Summary: National pilot project for the screening and eradication of the bacterium Helicobacter Pylori through community pharmacies, as a way of preventing gastric cancer. Project winner of the National Joint Competition award between the National Program for Oncological Diseases of the Directorate-General of Health (PNDO/DGS) and the Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation (AICIB), for the funding of Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation Projects in the area of cancer prevention 2024 (NCH-PT 2024).
