As described in Information Circular no. 75, of December 29, 2021 - Clarification on the measures set out in the Resolution of the Council of the Government no. 299/2021, of December 28 (https://portal.azores.gov.pt/documents/37408/2635344/CI+Esclarecimentos+medidas+28+de+de+dezembro_signed.pdf/be64fbed-f979-f-f387-d94f-6d7b8d67e9d6?t=1640777437514), the Regional Health Authority clarifies that:
The admission of people to social, cultural and sports events, as well as bars and nightlife venues with dance floors, is conditional on the presentation of a negative covid-19 test result, regardless of a valid EU COVID vaccination certificate, under one of the following conditions:
- RT-PCR test carried out within 72 hours prior to entry;
- OR
- Rapid antigen test for professional use within 24 hours prior to entry;
- OR
- Self-tests provided that they are carried out at the entrance of the event and validated by a health professional.
This requirement is not applicable to people holding a EU COVID recovery certificate or a declaration of clinical discharge, as well as to children aged 12 or under.
