Last 24 hours:
36 new positive cases of COVID-19 were diagnosed, with 26 on the island of São Miguel, seven on the island of Graciosa, two on the island of Terceira and one on the island of Pico, following 1,120 tests carried out.
By islands, on the island of São Miguel, 16 cases were registered in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, six in the municipality of Ribeira Grande, two in the municipality of Povoação, one in the municipality of Lagoa and one in the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo. The island of Graciosa registered seven cases in the municipality of Santa Cruz, the island of Terceira registered two new cases in the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo and on the island of Pico, one new case was diagnosed in the municipality of São Roque.
Hospitalisations:
As of today, there are seven patients hospitalised, all at the Divino Espírito Santo Hospital in Ponta Delgada, none of whom is in Intensive Care Unit.
Recoveries:
In the last 24 hours, 30 recoveries were registered.
Current situation:
The archipelago currently registers 294 positive active cases: 236 on the island of São Miguel, 18 on the island of São Jorge, 18 on the island of Graciosa, 9 on the island of Faial, 7 on the island of Terceira and 6 on the island of Pico.
From December 31, 2020 to November 11, 174,77 people in the Azores have been vaccinated with the first dose (73,9 per cent) and 195,283 with complete vaccination (82,5 per cent), under the Regional Vaccination Plan. Up to this date, 4,760 people have received vaccine reinforcement (3nd dose).
