Family allowance to be paid starting today - Communication

The Regional Secretariat for Health and Social Security informs that the payment of the Azorean Family Allowance Supplement for children and youth (CAAF) will begin today, via bank transfer, and by the end of the week via Postal Services (CTT).

Once again, the Regional Government proves that it stands by those who need support. This year, it is again increasing this social support by 5% compared to last year's amount, for all levels of CAAF beneficiaries.

This measure will cover 19,070 beneficiaries, corresponding to an overall investment of 1.5 million Euros in the first half of 2025.

CAAF is a financial supplement granted to recipients of family allowances residing in the Azores to compensate for family expenses concerning the care and education of children and young people.
