The Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores approved the 2025 Plan and Budget, which the President of the Regional Government, José Manuel Bolieiro, described as fundamental for guaranteeing political, social and economic stability in the Region.

The head of the Azorean Government was pleased with the outcome of the parliamentary session, underlining the importance of this step for the present and future of the Azores.

"This approval represents a clear commitment to stability, which is crucial if we continue working for the benefit of all islands, leaving none behind," said José Manuel Bolieiro.

The President of the Government also stated that the 2025 Plan and Budget emerged from a comprehensive and constructive dialogue with all the regional, social and political partners, reinforcing the legitimacy of the approved document.

"This Plan stemmed from an inclusive dialogue, a process that demonstrates that this governance is a solution that will guarantee stability for the Azores," he stressed.

He emphasised that the strategy outlined by the Regional Government has produced positive and tangible results for families, companies and the Azorean economy.

José Manuel Bolieiro highlighted that the 2025 Plan and Budget is not just a financial tool, but a commitment to the well-being of all Azoreans and the sustainable development of the nine islands.

"This is a firm step towards building a future in which all islands and all Azoreans have the same opportunities to grow and prosper," he concluded.
