Paulo Estêvão presented main lines of draft 2025 Plan and Budget - Communication

The Regional Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs and Communities, Paulo Estêvão, presented today in Ponta Delgada the main lines of the draft 2025 Plan and Budget for, the documents that will now be sent to the island councils and the Economic and Social Council of the Azores (CESA).

The main priorities for next year include the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), the Azores 2030 programme, the recovery of the Divino Espírito Santo Hospital (HDES) and the promotion of investment.

The coalition's options, such as maintaining the "Azores Fare," lowering taxes and ending agricultural apportionments, were also highlighted by the Regional Secretary.

Budget boosts in areas such as health and education are also secured for 2025, continued Paulo Estêvão.

The draft Plan and Budget was approved by the Council of the Government last week.
