Tender launched for renovation and installation of wireless networks and telecommunications infrastructures in Flores and Corvo schools - Communication

The contract for the renovation and installation of wireless networks and building telecommunications infrastructures (ITED) in schools in the Autonomous Region of the Azores on the islands of Flores and Corvo has been put out to tender and published in the Official Journal.

With a budget of 150 thousand Euros and based on the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), the intervention aims to repair faults in the schools' data networks and install a wireless network with higher data transfer speeds.

ITEDs comprise spaces, pipe networks, cabling networks and other equipment and materials such as connectors, sockets and other devices.

The criterion of the most economically advantageous tender in the multi-factor modality was adopted for this procedure.

The contract was awarded by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Mobility and Infrastructures, through the Regional Directorate for Public Works.
