Paulo Estêvão met with President of the Board of Directors of ANACOM - Communication

The Regional Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs and Communities, Paulo Estêvão, met on Friday with the President of the Board of Directors of the National Communications Authority (ANACOM), Sandra Maximiano, with the Azorean space ecosystem being one of the topics of the meeting.

At the meeting, also attended by the coordinator of the Azores Mission Structure (EMA) for Space, Paulo Quental, the Regional Secretary briefed the head of ANACOM on the latest developments and future prospects for the space sector in the Azores, specifically on Santa Maria Island.

Sandra Maximiano was in the Azores to attend the presentation session of the Nuvem project, Google's subsea cable moored in the Azores.
